We headed east through miles and miles of orchards along the Wenatchee River valley, then the Columbia River Basin with corn, wheat, alfalfa. Through Spokane, into Idaho, through Couer d' Alene, now mountains and forest. Into Montana, very beautiful country but not much out here, just wide open fields. Stayed a few nights at Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park where we toured the cavern.Sunday, August 2, 2009
